One of a kind fabric and mixed media collaged landscapes and flowers focusing mostly on Maine themes. Many of the fabrics used are hand painted and/or hand dyed. Unique Artful Memory pieces are made from clothing of a family member who has passed away. Smaller items like cards and mini landscapes use upcycled fabrics from my ever growing stash of scraps. Photographs printed on fabric are incorporated into many of the landscapes to provide an unusual mixed media piece. All pieces are threadpainted to add interesting features which complete the work.

Fresh harvest in a jar wants to redefine what jams, jellies, butters, curds, and chutneys are – and should be. Each jar is packed full of fresh fruit (and a few vegetables), picked in season, with just enough added sugar to enhance the natural sweetness of the ingredients. We leave no room for preservatives or other additives. All of our products are so pure, so simple, and so flavorful, we don’t have to spread it on thick, but we think you will!

Seaweed tea is a largely forgotten traditional health drink of New England and Maritime Canada. Cup of Sea honors that coastal heritage with its handcrafted loose-leaf teas. Wild harvested from the cold, pristine waters of the Gulf of Maine, our seaweeds are then dried and blended with herbal or caffeinated ingredients in small batches in Portland. The seaweeds in our blends contain around 60 minerals vital to health — notably iodine, potassium and magnesium. They also provide vitamins A, B, C, E & K, plus omega 3 & 6, essential amino acids and antioxidants. They’ve been featured by Martha Stewart, Prevention Magazine, the Food Channel, the Portland Press Herald, Bangor Daily News and others. We hope you enjoy them!

For over 30 years I have been making solid wood furniture and related items of various designs, specific to customer needs. My main focus has been replicating period work made to order using the same techniques and often the same tools as did the original makers of what are now antiques. The joinery, detail and finishing and use of native woods make the difference from something mass produced. See my website for more information and to see some examples of my work.
