Swan’s Honey is located in the beautiful farmland of Albion, Maine, owned and operated by Lincoln and Karen Sennett. This 250-acre farm has been in the Sennett’s family since the early 1800’s. After living in Louisiana, Alaska, Pennsylvania and California, working as a chemical engineer and bank employee respectively, Lincoln and Karen returned to Maine to take over and manage the Sennett’s wild blueberry business. They recognized the area’s immediate need for pollination services and in 2002, the couple purchased R. B. Swan and Son, a respected honey and bee business in Brewer, Maine. From there, the Sennett’s business took off. The business, now located in Albion, Maine, has grown from several hundred hives to several thousand hives and employs a well-equipped team of beekeepers, extractors, packagers, and more. Swan’s honeybees split their time between Maine and Georgia, pollinating blueberries, raspberries, buckwheat, orange blossoms, tupelo trees, and a variety of wildflowers.

Maine Craft Design

I was born in Maine and grew up sailing the beautiful coast of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport with my dad. After college I came back home and crewed on a sailing charter boat that departed from the very dock our small family sailboat had called home years before. It didn’t take me long to realize I had salt water running in my veins. I got my captain’s license and made the ocean a permanent part of my life.
Not long after getting my captain’s license I started work aboard a lobster tour boat. We’d take passengers out, haul traps, and teach them about lobster and the sea. I started soaking up all the knowledge I could about the lobster industry and all things nautical.
Fast forward 15 years, and I’m still learning. I found a love for passing along my knowledge to other. My Lobster Talks give me the opportunity to share all that I love and have learned about these amazing animals and the beautiful place I call home.

Hi! My name is Greg Clements. I was born and raised on the coast of Belfast, Maine. After stints in Boston and Manhattan, I’ve been lucky enough to now call Kittery my home. I’ve developed my craft of candle-making over years of trial and error in an effort to create the best Maine-made candle. I find inspiration from the natural world, unique Maine experiences, and the culture and traditions of Maine and New England.
Nikki Pilgrim Art

I am a unconventional watercolor artist, illustrator & curator of Caravan Artist Market.
A NH native, I received my BFA from the Maine College of Art in 2007, with a focus in printmaking & have since been living, & making art on the coast of Maine.
I am a habitual maker, I have always been compelled to be producing work in a variety of mediums, after completing my undergrad, I found my happy place in painting.
My process revolves around being a mother, having a home studio, & the time I steal for myself to paint. After loosing access to a press, I started again as a mixed media artist, I began painting primarily on wood with watercolor, & have since developed my own techniques. My partner, then frames my work for me, in a way that compliments & turns every painting into a beautiful lasting keepsake.
Working on wood lends me so much freedom, & flexibility, with integrity. It allows me to achieve more layering, color saturation, contrast, & boldness not commonly found in traditional watercolor paintings – while still embracing its lovely translucency, ability to move, wash, & blend. My paintings have evolved & translated beautifully into many varying printed products, from stickers, yearly calendars, limited edition prints to acrylic earrings.
I take endless inspiration from being outside in my garden & in nature. From the mountains, to the woods, to the beach. I find so much therapy & influence from my time spent on the coast, especially with the ocean, & watching the waves. The abyss of the sea is like a temple to me, the moody blues, constantly changing, the movement, the reflection of light, & its vastness.
I love opulent color, movement, pattern, & funk. While some of my paintings contain symbolism, my work of late is purely inspired by the beauty that we are surrounded by here in Maine.

Born and Raised in Central Maine, my mother taught me to sew and work with yarn when I was eight years old. Over the years my love and passion for creating has grown exponentially. I am self taught in most techniques I use in my business today, such as textile design, screen printing, pattern development. I’m a textbook jack of all trades. My shop offers a wide spectrum of handmade goods from knit hats and cowls, to headbands, to canvas bags and pouches.
Rope Art

I first fell in love with art when I was in high school. My art teachers and mother were constantly encouraging me and feeding my creative mind. By my senior year I knew art was the direction I wanted to go in. I attended art college in Atlanta Georgia where I learned all sorts of mediums from pencils, to paint, photography and sculpture. The exposure through that experience was something that stretched my creativity. It wasn’t until 5 years ago that I saw a piece of art with rope in it. I was immediately intrigued and wondered how I could create a picture entirely out of this material. It was a lot of trial and error in the beginning of the process for sure, but I felt I was on to something as I improved. I am continuing to refine my skill with each piece and I sincerely enjoy creating an art form that is uniquely mine. I get most of my inspiration from the things I see while hiking, hunting and fishing. The outdoors is my favorite place to be.
Camden Clay Co.

Austin P. Smith is the artist and maker behind Camden Clay Company. He studied ceramics at Bennington College from 2003-2007, and has maintained a studio in Maine ever since. He is inspired by his home state’s coastal landscape and waterways, which is especially evident in his Chart Series. Austin primarily enjoys working in slip cast porcelain, and has studied with such highly regarded slip casting artists as Andy Brayman, Tom Spleth, and Steven Heinemann. He has been both a student, and teachers’ assistant at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and a resident at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts.
Water’s rhythmic power of erosion and deposition forms the ever-changing coastal landscape of my home state, Maine. This is not unlike my approach to clay as a medium. In slip-casting, there is a constant give and take of material – carving away and filling in. As the saying goes, “You could not step twice into the same river.” Neither can you cast the same mold twice. Each time I pour liquified porcelain clay into a plaster mold it alters the mold, and each time I pull a piece out of a mold I learn something new, thus altering my knowledge and perception as an artist.

I started making jewelry as a way to reconnect with myself after becoming a mom. I was at home with my little girl all day and needed to have something that didn’t have to do with being a mom. My little girl is no longer so little, and my escape into jewelry has become a full fledge business. I have a strong passion for art, design and color. I also dabble in graphic design, oil painting, and watercolor. I love exploring New England and spending time in my garden tending my flowers which you can often see in displays at events which my daughter loves to attend as my helper.
