I’m a full-time jewelry designer and fabricator who lives on the coast of Maine. I work primarily in gold and silver from my original designs. I use the time-honored techniques of metalsmithing to produce my work. Beautiful, modern, well-made jewelry is my goal. Quality matters in everything I do – workmanship, customer service, communication – it’s the driving force behind my company.

I have a strong commitment to dealing with only the most ethically, environmentally, and socially responsible suppliers of gemstones and metals.

Repose Fire logs LLC

Today’s Solution to a Timeless Tradition: Handmade Wood Pellet Campfire Logs – Reusable, Portable, Affordable, Sustainable
“If necessity is truly the “Mother of Invention”, then Brian Grady has designed one Mother of a useful product – re-usable, stainless steel Repose Fire Logs”, reports Lisa Williams Ackley, staff writer for the Bridgton News. Her article, which appeared in the September 4, 2008 issue of the Bridgton News, goes on to report:
Grady, a professional sawyer who operates his own sawmill, said the idea for his unique invention came to him this past February [2008], on a bitterly cold and snowy day, when the last thing he wanted to do was go outside and cut more wood for his stove. Even his black Labrador retrievers, Ivy and Iris, didn’t want to venture out into the arctic-like winter….
“The logs can be used in a fireplace, or outside in fire pits and chimeras,” said Grady.

Blueberry Bay Jewelry

ss

Several years ago I took an enameling class and immediately fell in love with this medium. I was drawn to the vibrant glass colors and that each piece I created had a unique finish.Using a torch, powdered glass is fused onto copper creating one of a kind wearable pieces which I hope you find as fun to wear as they have been to create.

I am one of the fortunate people who live on the Maine coast and get to enjoy its beauty everyday. Some of my favorite colors of glass to work with are blues and greens and I like to think that the colors of Maine – oceans, blueberries and fields – inspire my choices.

In addition to enameling, I have added copper earrings and pendants pressed with designs to my collection.

Hilltop Spoonworks

Handcrafted, custom wooden kitchen utensils. Wooden spoons, measuring cups, drinking cups, and charcuterie boards, all made in Poland, Maine. You must bear in mind that these are newly carved, sanded, and finished, solid wood utensils. They have not been seasoned through use like the ones you may currently have. The first few times you use them, they will get a fuzzy feel to them, this is a natural part of the seasoning process which goes away the more you use them. Hand wash only, with regular dish soap, and dry with a cloth or paper towel right away. Do not let them soak or sit in the sink for an extended period. The finish I use is an all natural and food safe raw linseed (flaxseed) oil, mixed with locally harvested raw beeswax. If the piece will be used daily or on a somewhat regular basis, I recommend you apply a food safe oil monthly or at least every couple of months, this will keep the wood conditioned and maintain a bright finish. Any butcher block conditioner or oil will work as well. If for any reason, the piece feels overly rough or fuzzy, a light sanding with a 600-800 grit sandpaper followed by butcher block conditioner/oil will make them like new again. If you follow these instructions, your utensils will serve you well for many years to come.
