White Pine Bath & Brew is a woman-owned business creating vegan skincare with a primary focus on luxury bar soap designed from Maine craft beers. All products are vegan, palm oil free, and handmade in small batches in South Portland, Maine. Craft beer is used to make the soap due to the overlap of ingredients in beer and those in skincare. There are amino acids in hops; and there is biotin, pantothenic acid, and a number of other essential vitamins in brewer’s yeast. Beer also creates a more luxurious lather. White Pine Bath & Brew sources beer exclusively from breweries in Maine. When possible, White Pine Bath & Brew also collects brewery production excess. Breweries commonly produce short-fills and overstock beer that has passed its freshest point. By purchasing and/or repurposing this beer, White Pine Bath & Brew supports other local businesses and helps to reduce waste across multiple industries.
White Pine Bath & Brew also produces a line of men’s vegan beard care products including beard balms and beard oils. One of the most common complaints about other beard care products is that they leave behind an unpleasant, greasy residue – forcing men to choose between a dry, scratchy beard and a soft but slimy beard. White Pine Bath & Brew beard care is specially formulated to solve this problem – providing men with soft, moisturized facial hair and skin without the residue.
