Overview
Since 1957, Warmlite is a manufacturer of expedition quality outdoor gear: tents, sleeping bags, vapor barrier, and rain gear. We make the highest quality gear that will go anywhere your adventures take you. We are a cottage industry business, meaning we are family owned and operated. We manually cut all parts following our original designs and patterns using a hot knife. These parts are then sewn by hand by Maine sewers. Once our seamstresses complete their work, the product comes back to our shop for completion.
My inspiration comes from the customers. I love hearing their stories of adventure, bringing their Warmlite gear along like a trusted best friend. Their stories inspire me to make the absolute best quality gear possible, Warmlite gear has saved lives and that’s a huge responsibility that I don’t take lightly. I have been an avid hiker/backpacker myself and understand the value of well-made gear. In the 80’s when I was a young gal and spent my summers working for my uncle, I only wish I paid attention a bit more, lol.
