Overview

My father and I started Richardson’s Custom Cut and Kiln Drying out of a love for nature and woodworking. I was fortunate enough to learn woodworking from my father and grandfather at a young age. Over the years I have been progressively getting more involved in the trade. Several years ago, I tried my hand at making my own wooden goods under the name Tuition Builders. However, I am also an ICU nurse and as we all know, things have been busy the past few years so, woodworking had to take the back seat for a short time. Luckily, my father and I decided to try our hand at selling lumber. Our business has been going strong for several years now. Also, in creating our lumber business we were able to see all of the beautiful things our customers create. This made us miss our time in the shop. So, my father and I decided to get back in the shop and we have committed to using our lumber to make finished goods a permanent part of our business.
