Overview
As owners of Plucked Salsa, we have strived to develop some of the best salsas available in the New England area. Neither of us started with any education in Food Production, but our interest in food and our motivation to bring the best products to our consumers continues to drive us. And while we both love spicy foods, we understood we needed to bring products for all palates. Our training has only been through trial and error and working with the best in the business. Once our fresh product was available throughout New England in Hannaford, Shaw’s, Whole Foods, and local shops & delis in Maine & New Hampshire, we worked with Pemberton’s in Gray to develop a shelf stable product that closely mimicked our fresh salsa – with a few curveballs. Working on R&D with their team drove us to really dig into our strengths and create these 4 new flavors.
