Rob developed a passion for woodworking early in his childhood working side by side with his father and grandfather. Both had skills with building homes and furniture construction. Rob cultivated these early learning experiences into his first home repair business summers during his 30 year teaching career. Throughout New England there was a timber frame revival taking place during the mid 80’s. Rob gathered knowledge and design ideas from many who had hands on knowledge of this technique. As time approached the turn of a new century Rob’s woodworking skills had evolved to specific joinery associated with structure and use. Timber framing led to furniture construction and Maine Adirondack Chairs was born.
