Dean Bingham of Dean’s Sweets began his truffle making career years ago as a somewhat casual, somewhat serious sideline. As an accomplished architect for decades, his fine sense of aesthetics and high standards made truffle-making an irresistible pursuit. With the art of chocolate-making, Dean applies his design talents in the selection of the highest quality ingredients. And because each is hand-dipped, he creates a unique piece of art with each truffle, always attentive to proportion, texture, hue, and above all, taste. From the very beginning, Dean witnessed a consistent pattern of “wow” and delight whenever anyone bit into one of his truffles.
Encouraged by these fans of chocolate, Dean’s Sweets officially opened for business in 2004. Though the business is more “serious” now, the truffles haven’t changed – they are still individually hand-dipped and exceptional!
