2026 Common Ground Country Fair
Thank you for a fantastic 2025 Common Ground Country Fair! We are grateful for the thousands of volunteers, Fair planning committee, and MOFGA staff and board members that make the Fair possible.
The 50th annual Common Ground Country Fair will be held at the Common Ground Education Center in Unity, Maine on September 25, 26, and 27. The fairgrounds are open Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association’s (MOFGA) annual celebration of rural living features 1000-plus exhibitors and speakers, and emphasizes vibrant communities, sustainable living and local economies, while highlighting organic agriculture.
The 2026 Fair schedule will be available in late August or early September.

About this year’s winning poster artwork: The fair designs are intended to represent the values of the largest organic fair in the country, and are beloved by fairgoers from around the world. The winning artist, Brenda McGuinness was present to sign posters.
“I studied the previous posters for the fair and enjoyed the array of plants and animals selected to represent it each year,” says McGuinness. “I noticed that while a wide variety of farm animals had been featured over the years, there hadn’t yet been a poster that focused primarily on a dog.”
