Member Profile:
We are Bells from Everest — a unique enterprise founded on an astonishing idea: We’re the world’s first and only creator of environmental art sculptures made from oxygen cylinders abandoned by climbers on Mt. Everest.

Our beautiful bells, bowls, and other inspirational works come literally from “the top of the world” and are sold in art galleries across North America (as well as this website).

We’re very proud of what we do at Bells from Everest. Our work generates income for Himalayan Sherpas, removes and recycles waste from what should be the planet’s most pristine environments, and graces the homes of environmentally conscious art lovers everywhere. Our story has earned media coverage around the globe.
Member Bio:
Jeff is a Maine native and a 1985 graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, where he was a Trustee Award winner. He worked as a professional chef and ice sculptor in New England for almost 20 years. An exuberant creative spirit with a lifelong love of art, he developed an interest in wood turning. In 1998 he was elected president of the Maine Wood Turners Association and, in 1999, chairman of its board of directors. Jeff’s woodturnings have been sold through galleries in Maine and New York, and are featured in private and corporate collections as far afield as the United Kingdom and Japan.
