This year and last fall, I spent alot of time photographing flowers in the wild as well as in the garden. I've combined some of these images into "Window Frames" that were built by Maine Furniture Solutions. Driving along the many rural roads of Maine, you can often see older farm houses that have the look of time. I like the idea of looking through these windows from an insider and an outsiders' point of view. To achieve this, I wanted the frames to have the worn used look. I feel it has a certain charm, a comfort of use and age...and so, I decided to "distress" these Window Frames and carefully choose from my collection of photographs those that compliment the frame. Each Window Frame measures 17" wide x 27" high and comes ready to hang. My Still Life prints are also available matted and framed, as a canvas transfer and as 5x7 photo Note Cards.
