Businesses in Bar Harbor and around Mount Desert Island will feature their infamous delicacies, treats, crafts, jewelry, and more. This is your chance to experience all that makes Maine unique! A list of participating businesses will be available beginning the week of August 24.

As always, the safety of visitors, residents and employees continues to be our top priority. Here are a few ways we are working to provide a safe experience for all:

• Complying with standards set by the State of Maine to operate and receive guests

• Requiring employees to practice excellent hand hygiene

• Regular cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting in accordance with the CDC and EPA

• Providing hand sanitation units
