It started as a hobby in college, making natural lip balm for friends in 1991. Today, Mad Gab’s manufactures an entire line of natural body care products that are made in Maine in a historic riverside mill. Made up of a dedicated and hardworking staff, Mad Gab’s is committed to sticking to our mission and values while producing products that are whimsical, playful, and effective! Member Bio:
Gabrielle Melchionda started Mad Gab’s in 1991 while studying Anthropology at U-Mass Amherst. Gabrielle moved Mad Gab’s to Maine in 1996. In 1999 she won the Maine Chapter of Small Business’ “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” Award. In 2002 Mad Gab’s received the Eagle Feather Award from Maine Business for Social Responsibility. Gabrielle lives in Maine with her husband and two sons. Category:
