At Connolly & Co., skilled Maine craftsmen design and custom cut and erect high-quality timber frame homes, barns, barn homes, studios, workshops and a variety of commercial structures. Our homes combine the warmth and charm of wood with state-of-the-art energy conservation techniques, through the use of intricate timber joinery and stress skin insulation panels. Maine white pine and Douglas Fir are the most frequently used in our timber frames, but other woods are available. We offer a number of standard designs from Colonial to Contemporary, or we can design a custom plan to meet your own unique requirements. General contractors and architectural firms are encouraged to work with us in planning and designing their timbered structures. Timer-CAD services are available.

Every timber is individually cut; then, using appropriate joinery, it is assembled at your site by our team, and fastened with oak pegs. The result is a timbered structure that uses wood to its fullest advantage, structurally and aesthetically.
