Andersen Design has been producing original stoneware ceramics for over 35 years. The work is carefully crafted in Maine studios, using traditional hand-pouring, finishing and freehand brush techniques. The Andersens have always emphasized the environment in all their designs, with subjects including nautical sandpipers, seals and gulls, as shown, as well as such subjects as manatees, pelicans, penguins, chickadees, bluebirds and fish.
