THE MAINE GARDEN JOURNAL - INSIDER SECRETS FROM MAINE PEOPLE WHO LOVE TO PUT THEIR HANDS IN THE DIRT
by Lisa Colburn
The Maine Garden Journal contains the living stories and vital experience of over one hundred knowledgeable and experienced Maine gardeners who do their own ornamental gardening. Written in a down-to-earth, neighbor-to-neighbor style, this book is a helpful resource to Maine gardeners and all people who garden in short-season, cold-climate areas of the country. Over 300 full-color photos bring the text vividly to life and make this book a valuable resource for all home gardeners. Member Bio:
Lisa Colburn is an avid gardener who was born and raised in a rural community in extremely northern Maine where it seemed everyone gardened.
When she left her zone 3 garden and moved to a zone 5 garden in central Maine, it opened up a whole new world of possibilities as far as gardening was concerned.
The move and her challenges in obtaining vital information for successful gardening in her new locale, inspired her to seek out the assistance from other enthusiastic gardeners to write this book. Category:
