Hello! We are Mark and Crystal Plummer. We are excited to be the new owners of Maine Mixtures.

Maine Mixtures was established in 1985 by Crystal's parents, Kevin and Jackie.

The business started as a small gift-shop in Edgecomb, Maine, and has grown into an exciting enterprise featuring handmade dried apple crafts. Though we are the new owners, Jackie is still involved with the business on a consultant basis, teaching us her talents (which we are trying hard to soak it all in!).

Our family-held secret process of drying the apples preserves them for many years' use. The apples will brown slightly over time, however they will not rot. If you experience high-humidity weather, the apples will get soft, but they will be absolutely fine for continued display so long as you do not touch them.

The scent that we use on the apples will last a year or longer. When the scent dissipates, you may re-scent the product by using a few drops of cinnamon oil. We recommend 100% oils as other ingredients in the oil may interfere with the preservation of the apple craft. We do have oil for sale for re-scenting products.

Our process is 100% natural, however, these are not edible.

You will find our products at various art and craft shows throughout Maine and New England, as well as in fine shops and craft outlets in Maine and New Hampshire.
We are able to ship products to you, as well as do special orders. Please use the contact us page, or our Facebook page to inquire about either.

Our products are available to select shops on a wholesale basis. We do not do consignment at this time.
