Fabric items ranging from embroidery and applique stitcheries, pillows, dolls, angels, and Christmas items using natural and vintage reclaimed fabrics. If you like old-fashioned stitcheries, we have a treat for you! Embroidery and applique are two favorite forms of stitching therapy. Whether you are an expert, novice or new stitcher, you can be sure you'll find something here to put your hand to! You can create tomorrow's heirlooms today (or buy them already made up)! Member Bio:
The seed for Attic Heirlooms was planted within me at the age of seven when my mother sat me down with my first stamped embroidery pillowcase and proceeded to teach me the fine art of handwork. Despite the fact that I had to take out projects and redo them until they were right, I developed a love for stitching that has carried throughout the years. As I grew I continued to work with my hands and developed a love for designing and creating. For many years I have created country, folky items for gifts and for profit. Recently, at the urging of friends and family, I decided to try my hand at marketing my creations. I have been surprisingly pleased with the outcome. I now am striving to make this a viable, profitable business, which is truly a labor of love. Category:
